I'll be at LECOM Erie on Oct. 27, and I just have a few questions. I haven't recieved my packet yet because I was just invited yesterday and the packet was sent out today, but I don't know how long it will take to get, and I don't want to hold off so long on booking a flight and hotel, so any info would be great.

1. What time will the interview be over? Will I be able to catch say a 6 or 7 o clock flight that evening?
2. Do any of the hotels have a shuttle that goes from the hotel to the school? What about discounts for interviewing students?
3. If I end up staying an extra night, is there anything to do around there, keeping in mind I won't have a car, but I don't mind paying for a cab if it's not too much.
4. I would assume they have a place for luggage, but I just want to be sure about this.
5. Why are there no direct flights from NYC to Erie??? (more of a rhetorical question, but it's just a pain to have to connect in Cleveland or Detroit or wherever.)

Interview should lastr from around 8-1.

Yes, I believe a number of the hotels in the upper Peach St./I-90 area offer shuttle service to LECOM. Ask for discounts at the desk.

Plenty of stuff to do in Erie. It's a medium sized city with many recreational amenties. Plenty of bars and restaurants downtown as well as the usual chain crap. A beautiful peninsula with beaches on the lake (though I doubt you'll get a chance to swim in October).

Erie is a small airport in between the larger ones in Buffalo, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh. Most NYC flights connect thru Buffalo.
