I'm just curious to see if anyone else has had a horrible application process with with LECOM-FL as I have? First, they were really picky on accepting one of my undergraduate classes although several other more established schools had no problem with it. Secondly, they send me a card in late October saying my application is complete. I call them in late November, and they didn't "realize" it was complete. Thirdly, they had a problem with the accreditation (sp)of my undergraduate school. I graduated from a very small private university with a high gpa and average MCAT. Every other school that I applied to (WVSOM, PCSOM, and PCOM) had no problem with the accreditation(sp) of my school. In fact, one graduate from my university graduated at the top of her class in medical school (just to prove that my undergraduate university has adequate preparation). Anyways, I withdrew from LECOM-FL, but I kinda did want to be invited for an interview just to check the school/Florida out. I got the sense that they did not want me at that school, but they couldn't find a justifiable reason for rejecting me because my application, LOR's, essays, grades, and MCAT were solid.
Oh, well, life goes on.

I had no problems at all. They were great about sending the cards in the mail reflecting my updated file status. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. You probably would've liked the interview experience.
Schools don't need to justify rejecting an applicant. They can just say there were more qulaified applicants.

Sorry to hear that. I found their admissions committee to be nothing less than outstanding. They were very polite and got back to me on acceptance around 10 days. I am pumped to work with them this summer. On a side note, I saw that you were accepted to WVSOM. I interviewed there back in September and was put on a waiting list. I found their admissions committee to be very good as well. Bradenton was my top choice anyways so I was not disappointed with WVSOM.
