Hey guys,

I just called LECOM-FL this morning and she said my file is complete but they have requested my transcript. I find that to be unusual since I thought we only send it to AACOMAS and they send off your marks to your choices. And if you're accepted then the school your matric. at requests a final transcript. Has anyone else experienced this before?

It's a very common thing for them. It happened to quite a few of students when I interviewed there. They explained that AACOMAS does not send them copies of your transcripts and as such they request a copy when they are trying to verify a course or something like that. It doesn't happen to all, they did not request one for me, it's when they want to verify something or if you are still taking classes, etc. Anyway it's not a biggie.

Did not happen to me. Got interviewed on 11/10 and received an acceptance letter on 11/17.

so, do they not know what individual grades we got? or do you mean they get a listing of classes/grades but not an official transcript?

They requested a transcript from me before I interviewed to verify my AP credits. It isn't a big deal. Good luck!

what gets verified by AACOMAS is what they see. they get that list but not a copy of your transcripts, which amcas does.
