Can anyone who had interview by LECOM Florida help me to prepare for the interview? My interview is schedules on Monday by Dr. William Weimar. I wish he is very nice person. Please, tell me what questions they asked you.

Yes, I was contacted at 4:30pm (eastern time) today. I was at class so I received the news by voicemessage. I still have to call them tomorrow and set up the time.
My stats will give you some hope because my stats are not that great.

Science: 3.0
PCAT
overall: 70
chemistry: 99
math: 98
reading: 30
vocab: 20
I used to work as a research assistant at psychology department of University of Maryland Baltimore County and have 1 year pharm. tech experience.

When did you apply? I know they do not use PCAT scores but I heard that if they see it on your app, they will take that into consideration. I bombed the PCAT but I have a 3.3 (not great either) and 2 years pharm tech experience. I applied in October and still haven't heard anything. 🙁

I submitted my pharmcas application on September 27th. Then, I sent my supplemental application on Oct, 17th.

congrats!!! I applied everything complete the end of oct and haven't heard anything yet. overall GPA 3.5, in sciences a little bit higher. So i don't know what's going on but i wish ya the best of luck

She is so nice. 1 week later, Dr Levin called me and told me that I got accepted. So excited. good luck

Your stats are so great. I cannot believe how they still doesn't give you interview opportunity. When did you send your stuff? LECOM is rolling bases, so first comes first.

same experience for me. i had slightly different questions.

1) Who/what inspired you to be a pharmacist?
2) Describe a situation where you had to improve a weakness.
3) Describe a conflict with a coworker or a classmate.
4) What are some of your accomplishments?
5) What are some hobbies/interests of yours?

That's all i can remember. She probably has a list she chooses from to ask from. She read off a list of questions for me. One week later, Dr Levin called and congradualated me. He was really nice.

I submitted my application on Christmas.
Science GPA: 3.78
Math GPA: 4.00
I don't have PCat score
No pharm experience except volunteer

Im not sure what you mean by open file interview, but if you mean do they have your information in front of then, then no. She just went down a list of questions for me.

I used my cell phone because thats the only phone I have and I was at work at the time of the scheduled interview. The interview didnt last long, maybe 15 minutes.

Well i guess it depends on how long your answers are. my answers were probably only a couple minutes long each. goodluck!

The interview was great. My interview lasted about 30 minutes. It was very informal.. Dr. Weimer was so nice and he made the interview so comfortable. I hope I hear the good news.

Also, those who are confused about their accredation, they have Full Accredation. They will become independent when first class (class of 2011)graduate. The info is 100% accurate.

hello comet81 i had dr. wiemar too, he sounded very laid back... but i felt like i was being drilled with questions. But i knew how to answer them, i screwed up on one which i shouldn't have because i knew what it was just wasn't confident to say it. But good luck everybody

It was not like question to answer type of interview. He started with asking my background, my major, my nationality. Then, he asked me i have any pharmacy experience. Also, he asked me if there is any conflict with classmate or groupmember. Beside that we kinda talk a lot about school. I also found out that he is from Maryland where I live in right now so we talked about this.

People have been saying that Dr. Levin will contact you within a week if your in. But i don't know about if your not in?

with my interview and my twin's interview, Dr. Weimer told us both that the admissions committee meets every Friday...but since our interview was yesterday, he said they weren't goin to get to ours this Friday...he said we should both know by next Friday (no promises though)...also the Bradenton campus does not have an admissions committee, so he said that he sends the interview feedback to the Erie, PA campus and they make the decision so hopefully we'll both hear the good news. Good luck to all who interviewed also.

I got an acceptance call as well from Dr. Levin. But, I was interviewed by Dr. Weimar. His voices were exactly same as Dr. Levin. Has anyone noticed that?
