Actually, I am doing my rotations in the Pittsburgh area. But I am from a town an hour away from Pittsburgh, so Pittsburgh isn't a new place to me. I am in an FP office closer to my house right now, but I have some rotations in Pittsburgh and some rotations in Wheeling. There were a lot of people in our class who chose the Pittsburgh area, but we had no difficulties and were all able to stay in our own area for rotations (and not venture into other areas unless we wanted to). There are some good hospitals in the Pittsburgh area - Mercy, West Penn, Allegheny General...That along with being close to my family factored into my decision. Good luck on making your decision!
