So I was reading some feedback about LECOM's interview Q's, and I was curious if someone could enlighten me on what a leadership style is. For example if you were asked "What is your leadership style?"... How would I go about answering that question (vague, as I know you are not me). Thanks for your help 🙂

There are different ways...some people lead by example. Others rule with an iron fist. With that question I told a story about a place I used to work where two different managers used those methods and how much more effective the former was than the latter, as well as how it lead to a generally more content work environment. Then, I lead into a discussion of how those two methods can be used to solve conflicts. I knew that "how you handle conflict" was another big question that they ask, so I always tried to bring up another potential question at the end of each of my answers. In a way, you are answering questions before they are asked and kind of taking control of the interview. You can actually direct the interview into more comfortable areas if you are skilled in doing it. It throws them off balance because they have a "canned" set of questions and YOU are the one picking and chosing which ones and when to answer them. Good Luck!
