Has anyone heard from them since sending in your deposit? I sent my $1500 deposit in before Dec. 15th deadline but have yet to hear back from them about anything. 😕

I'd call. I got accepted in Jan (interviewed 12/15) and got a financial aid package and a new student registration package in Feb.

Not much. It just gives you detailed info on how to apply for financial aid (FAFSA + LECOM financial aid stuff) It was very similar to the financial aid info we got at the interview.

The form is available online but it's not current. It is for entering class of 2005.


Update: I just called and spoke with Melissa. It turned out they had me on the alternate list for ISP. Whatever that means. Are they going to reject me if there isn't any spot left? Anyway, I told her my first choice is LDP, not ISP, so she went back and look at my file and corrected the error and was told the financial aid packet is on its way. I also spoke with another lady. They were really helpful and sounded genuinely nice. 🙂 Totally unexpected from all the reading I've done on here.

I'm pretty positive they don't reject you if there aren't spots left in the ISP. I think they automatically put you in your alternate choice, which most of the time ends up being LDP. And everyone at LECOM has been super nice to me. My choosing PCOM-GA over LECOM-PA had nothing to do with what anyone said on this forum. 😉 I had a super experience with LECOM. Everything was timely, organized, and very friendly. If you like structure - they've got it for you. Their packet has a check list for financial aid stuff and a check list for all the other forms you're required to fill out. I thought it was really nice to have those two forms to check off to make sure you had turned everything in properly. 🙂 Congrats on LECOM!

Are their any other silly rules besides no food or drinks and having to dress up for classes that students have to put up with?
