Anyone on here in the LECOM Post-Bacc Program?
I called LECOM and talked to them about the program, but later on a few more questions came to mind.
Would the letters of recommendation they give you for completing the post bacc program replace the letter of recommendation from a pre-med committee at my undergrad college, or would I still need to get that too?
I graduate from my undergrad school in spring '06. I havent taken the MCAT yet because I just changed my mind about what I want to do (a couple of months ago I wanted to do Physical Therapy, but after a few conversations I've had with different PT's I decided that wasn't for me). So I'm going to take the MCAT in August '06. I just wondered when the whole medical school application process would take place. Even though I would just be starting the post-bacc program in fall '06, is that still when i would start applying to medical schools for entrance in the fall '07 class? Would LECOM have the letter of recommendation ready in time to apply then?
How many people from the post bacc program end up going to med school the following year?
Does most of the post bacc class stay at LECOM for med school or go elsewhere?
