hi,
Does anyone know what my chances are of getting accepted? Thanks.
Now, how could anybody know your chances of getting accepted? We don't have a single piece of information about you! What is your academic background? How is your gpa, science gpa(they do have a cutoff of 2.7), mcat score, ec's, LOR's etc. Remember, nobody can tell you your chances for sure, but we sure can't give you any opinions about that unless we know something about you. Sheesh!

Do they accept everyone who applies or does it depend on other factors?
No, they do not accept everybody that applies. Yes, admissions are competitve, but it is a postbacc designed to improve your science background. They understand that you may not have stellar gpa's or standardized test scores, but, judging by the fact that 90% of their post bacc students get accepted to medical school the following year, I have to assume that they don't accept you unless you have some obvious potential! They consider your gpa, science gpa, LOR's, personal statement, coursework, ec's, health experience, and either your MCAT or GRE.

Also, I have not submitted any reccommendation letters or transcripts because it didnt say to do so on the website. Should I submit any of these things or it doesn't matter and all I needed to submit was the application form itself? I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help me out with these questions.
Yes, of course you need to send your transcripts! They do have prerequisites also (the same prerequisite classes as for the DO program), which they need to verify on transcripts. There is no reputable program anywhere that would accept somebody without knowing their academic history. (sheesh again!) As for LOR's, they do not require you to send any, but it is HIGHLY recommended that you do send some(preferrably at least 1 from a science faculty member and one from a D.O.). Did you even contact the school before posting this? They list all of that contact information on their web page for a reason. I don't mean to sound condescending, but if you are really serious about getting into a program, it is probably a good idea to contact the school, especially with questions like this. Show a little initiative! I contacted LECOM quite a bit, and they were always willing to answer questions. Hope this helps. You really should call LECOM's admissions office.
