LECOM response time

I've seen some post's here and there about how long it takes to hear from LECOM about rejection or acceptance. There are many different times I've seen. Does anyone know when they meet or about how long on average it takes to get a letter?Thanks for the help

I heard back in a little over a week (from LECOM-E), and my letter had been printed on a Monday. I've heard that they meet on Fridays, and I probably just happened to interview during a week when they were meeting and were ultra-productive in their decisions.

So there's one response, maybe other people's experiences can give you a little better range of when you might here back from them. Good luck!

I believe they meet on wednesdays. The waiting period to get a decision varies.

Actually. I just got home and there was the letter from LECOM. Unfortunately, I'm an alternate. It sucks. Does anyone know about how many alternates they pick. Do they rank them? I sent a letter of intent yesterday. Will that help at LECOM on the waitlist? do they rank according to MCAT? or how early you applied? So many questions. I have a feeling that I might get pulled off but I need more info. Help me out guys!

The letter of intent could help. They told me that it would at bradenton.

Bradenton also told me that they called 40 people off last years alt list, which had 100 on it.

do you think that the fact that I applied early and send a letter of intent will push me to the top of a waitlist? or will it matter?

It would probably depend on where you currently are on the wait list, but it could move you up for sure. You should call and ask them how it works. At Bradenton, they told me that they rank it in january and start calling people. Keep them up to date on volunteer work, grades, etc.

Hey i was just curious if you had interviewed and if you did when did you? Also how did you think your interview went and what (if anything) do you wish you had done differently at your interview.
