LECOM vs PCOM Post-Bacc Programs

Although I plan to apply to DO schools this coming cycles, I am planning a back up route to go to linkage post-bacc programs as well.

I have applied to LECOM's and while it's cheap and has strong linkage into their medical school, I would rather be living in PCOM. I am thinking about applying to their program as well bc of this.

Does anyone have more information about the PCOM MS/Post-Bacc? Is their linkage to their DO school with above a 3.0 and above 40th percentile MCAT score like LECOM? When is the deadline to apply?

Stats: 3.1/3.3/MCAT TBD and good EC's

I believe PCOM's program is very similar, 3.5 GPA in the program and 24 old MCAT. I've heard that the GA-PCOM is easier in terms of courses compared to the Philly campus though Philly campus is more organized/well established. But i've heard of students not fairing that well in classes to maintain the GPA in their first semester and had to wait till spring semester grades were in, by which time they were waitlisted or had to do a 2nd year (which is a master's). My sources are from several undergrad friends that went through the program (in Philly and GA). I've also heard stories where students in the GA campus biomed program that performed average (not maintaining GPA and or less than 24 MCAT that was overlooked if they had a 3.5 above gpa in the program) but ended up transitioning into 1st year med school without any problem. I think it comes down to how much work you put into studying, regardless of which program.
Since you are applying out for DO schools next cycle, I suggest you wait to see how your MCAT score is and then decide (after applying to both programs). If you want to go to competitive DO schools and have a good MCAT score then PCOM is def the way to go.
