I have only found bits and pieces of this information in the forums. This is both for my curiosity/use and I think it could potentially help others in the future. Some people really prefer or need it...and I guess there's always the few who just want to know if they need to go to lecture or not.

Anyhow, please comment below about your school and I'll update the list. If there aren't official recordings, any info about general recording policies are good. If you're feeling generous, please share if lecture material (PowerPoints) are provided or attendance policies. Some info taken from past threads that may be out of date.

  • Starting next semester we will be using either the program that IU medical school uses or Univ Mich uses to video record the lecture and move to an optional attendance (professor has to explicitly state in their syllabus if lecture is mandatory). First step is complete video recorded lecture, then maybe get the attendance issue approved. (this was posted in 2011)
