What would cause one eye to see warmer colors than the other? For example, a person switches back and forth from using the left eye to the right and notices that the left eye transmits a red/warmer picture to the brain, whereas the right eye transmits a blue/cooler picture.

All the time? If you have a bright light shining in one eye and not the other, the eye that received the light will have bleached photoreceptors in that eye and everything appears to be slightly greenish for a little while.

Try the desaturation test with a DFE red bottle cap. Maybe the patient is seeing "dimmer" in one eye than the other eye.

I'm not pre optometry nor in optometry school so excuse my ignorance. I have always noticed that i see slightly different colors when switching between my left and right eye. For example, there is an orange bowl sitting in front of me; with my right eye i see the bowl as a dark orange and with my left it's a brighter orange. The difference is very slight, but noticable at times. Should i be concerned about this? Thanks for the help.
