Legal Residency Work Limits

Hey everyone,
I was wondering where I could find more information about the specific laws regarding residency work hours. I know what they are from word of mouth, but I'd like to be able to find a legitimate legal reference/source. Can anyone help with this?

Not laws, acgme requirements. They are easy to find online “common program requirements “

Unless you are in New York State. There are state laws that are slightly stricter than ACGME requirements. Again, Google has the official state website as the first result:

And frankly you will find it hard to prove that your residency program is breaking duty hours.

I don't know about that. A lot of programs are pretty brazen about it in my experience.
