So Sattar mentioned from his pathoma lecture that pathologic hyperplasia results in inc risk of cancer except BPH. But what about leiomyoma (fibroid)? Is this also an exception as well?
 
Leiomyomas are not hyperplasias. They are benign neoplastic lesions. They do not transform into leiomyosarcomas (LMS). LMS arise de-novo.
