Length of personal statements?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently trying to write my personal statement. I know OTCAS says a maximum of 7500 characters, but I was wondering...how long are personal statements usually? I don't want to be too lengthy and have the admissions committees get bored or weary of my essay. But if 7500 characters is the max, should I strive to have that much written?

I did 1 page for my paper app to augustine, and 3 for my autobio.

My PS was straight forward about me wanting to attend the OT school and why I would be an asset etc.
