okay..how long are these thank you notes suppposed to be?
I was thinking about 3 to 5 sentences...is this about right???
What is everyone saying on them? Just like "thanks, I hope to matriculate" or something to that effect...???

mine was about 5 sentences, just "it was nice meeting you, here's some stuff that I recall from our talk, blah blah, thanks for taking the time..."

stuff like that, but that's just me 🙂 I'm no brilliant writer!

I personally think you should write your thank you notes on professional looking note cards. Buy the best you can afford. It is just like the clothes we wear for the interviews. I think the note cards, words written in them and clothes worn during the interview reflect on us. Make everything as positive as you can.

As for how long, I agree with scoobydoo and chunk ee 3 -5 lines is a good amount. Here's hoping we have lots of thank you notes to write 😎 😎 😎

This may be a dumb question, but are regular thank you cards that you'd find in the section with the birthday cards, anniversary cards, etc ok to use? Or are there other thank you cards specifically for job and professional school interviews? Just curious.
Thanks

i just bought a pack of like 10 thank you cards...really generic....i didn't want to do anything that one person might find lame..like a beach scene or something...
So my cards only say "Thank you" in gray cursive writing..and are blank on inside...

are you guys sending cards to the adcom/admissions office in general, or to the specific interviewer? and how many are planning to say that they hope to be a student there as a "hint" to the reader (provided you liked the school)?

I was planning on saying that or implying it...not sure...anyone else know what to say for sure?
I still haven't written mine so I don't know 🙂

you could go all out and say "I hope to matriculate here in 2002"
bad idea? good idea?
no clue...
