I just wanted to get other people's opinions on this....I had a hard time finding a D.O. to shadow with near my area that fit into my work/volunteering schedule. And forget during college, I had classes, did research, and worked 25 hours a week (just graduated).

So I just submitted AACOMAS last week and am starting shadowing next week. Obviously I want to get a letter from him to include with my secondaries...and I want my secondaries in as soon as possible.

Will it look bad that I just started now? I have tons of other experiences just not DO related....and should I wait longer to get a better letter (hopefully) or do it for X amount of time to get my secondaries in the soonest possible??

What do you all think, I'd love any feedback...
