So i have the EK 101 verbal passages book but it is the old edition with 9 passages per test. After going through about 3 tests i felt that the passages were significantly longer than the TPR passages and AAMC ones. Or are they pretty close to the real thing?

I was thinking that maybe after they switch to the 40 question format they made the passages shorter as well?

Please let me know cause im going over time with EK... 🙁

There is no difference between 1st and 2nd edition of EK 101. The only change they made was to split the passages so that there are 7 passages per exam (total of 14) instead of 9 passages per exam.

As far as length goes, EK is about right. I've read how some people actually found their MCAT VR to be longer than AAMC/EK 101, so keep that in mind.
