I think if we set a schedule for studying for PCAT, that would be awesome..
Any suggestions.. First timer for PCAT.
Let's say how long Bio will take, how long Chem will take for studying.. and so on.. if we stick to it as a group we will truly help one another out.. any suggestions.. just shoot it down..

Before you do that you have to decide which subjects you are least comfortable with. Those are the ones that require more studying time. So, what sections do you feel are your strengths and weaknesses?

I want to join too. I'm having trouble with bio. My chemistry needs some brushing up, but bio is my main concern. I know I can do well in math.

Im in! First time PCAT taker here! I believe we need some people with experience with the pcat to also help us. I have no idea what the timing is, but I hear lots of people run out of time. I heard the best method for the quant is 'if you dont know it, skip it, at the end go back, rethink, if you dont know, "christmas tree" the rest before time runs out".

I think im really nervous about the essay part although it seems like everyone usually gets 3's.. can we turn this also into a pcat prep study group for jan?!?!

Thanks for responses.. I need to study really for bio.. it's my weak point.. brushing up on chem.. math is fine.. but I heard that calc needs more time to make.. so let's say bio can take 2 weeks.. chem 3 weeks???
studying 4 hours a day.. is that fair??

doc ss, how did you study and what were your scores? I need to really start hard and know the techniques of answering the questions fast.. i will know the answer but my problem is the time and I need to get a good score..

Absolutely not. I believe it is equal, gpa needed and all, but for the school im applying for, you only need 1 year of prereq's.

And yes, I need some useful study techniques for the PCAT! I also need to know how im going to time myself!
