One of my jobs as VP of my sorority was to update the big plastic calendar in the kitchen with events so everyone was aware of what was going on. Being the OCD overachieving person that I am I color coded it. To make fun of me the girl who had the job previously started calling me "Calendar". It was a name that stuck and some people still call me that 😛! I graduated from Lafayette College and our mascot is the leopard and so we call ourselves "pards" very often. Finally, I am from NY and very proud of it. So i combined those random things and came up with CalpardNY!

My avatar is a photo of my three nutcases! Winnie (Winston) is my 12 year old Portuguese Water Dog (who thinks hes 2 but is so smart). The white fluff ball in the middle is Maddie (Matilda), the bichon we inherited from family friends who were allergic. On the right is Tucker, our 5 year old toy poodle - if you can see he has markings like a doberman or rottie so they call him "phantom" colored (my mom rescued him from california and he fit in our palms when we got him). They are nuts and its impossible to get them to photograph together...plus Tucker is camera shy and if you put a camera near him (even a cell phone on camera) he hides or turns away - i swear!

Just because its the cool thing to do:

wi girl. hmmmm .... yeah. completely unoriginal. however, at cornell (ug) there are less than 15 from wi in my class -- so people get really excited when they meet me ("wow, you're from wi? that's north of minnesota, right?" "um, no.") And a lot of people call me wisconsin. especially after they beat our (cornell) hockey team to get to the frozen four a few years ago (1 or 2 maybe?). and when they met me after they had a bit too much "fun" and don't remember anything else.

The pic is of my (4 year old) pup Lily, who's a tri-point cocker. I'm very excited to have her with me next year.

Yeah, mine aren't too exciting.

I've been using "Pandacinny" as my internet name for random things for years. When I was in middle school, I had two rabbits - a large, black and white female named Panda and a little holland lop male named Cinnabunn ("Cinny" for short.) So I stuck them together.

My picture is of my shepherd mix, Buddy. I had a big dog bed on my living room floor last year and my roommate had been playing a video game and left the controllers near it. Buddy laid his head down next to the controllers and got this sad look like "Why won't anyone play with me?" It was so cute! "BigGreenVet" I go to Dartmouth, which doesn't have a mascot. We just call ourselves the Big Green (or use Keggy, haha). I had no idea what to call myself and didn't really want to use my name. That's just what I came up with.

Calvin and Hobbes was the greatest comic strip of all time. I have a bunch of books.

At the start of this semester I tried to use some of my money set aside for text books to buy the complete Calvin and Hobbes collection, but my wife didn't really care for that idea.

The Far Side is the second greatest comic strip ever.👍

As for my SN umm I am really uncreative and I have worked with cattle since I was 4 years old, so I just decided on bovine.

Before my family went belly-up, I had 2 Pugs (Ralph n Curtis) hundreds of koi fish, several dozen frogs, and 2 lovable turtles named Franklin and Tommy (the former being named after that cute little children's book!). Franklin, before we gave up the entire house, was found dead at the bottom of my koi pond. To this day I still have no idea how he died 🙁 , but his eyes were red and looked to be injured in some way.

Interned at an animal hospital over the summer, but could not continue through the school year due to water polo :\ but since season is over, I'm trying to search for another place.

Senior in high school(17yrs old), will be attending UC Davis in the fall 🙂

I'm pretty sure I haven't posted in this thread yet. My name is just one I came up with when I was 14 or so. I like tigers... like, they've always been my favorite animal. I'm 100% a cat person. That said, my avatar is a dog... my corgi, to be exact. Cat people can like dogs, and vice versa... or at least I think so. The "twelve" part, well, I tried twotigers, threetigers... those were taken, so twelve worked. (I didn't like tentigers.) I really like it now because it's twelvetigers, twelve letters, six and six. I have it on yahoo, myspace, and some other places. And I own the domain. LOL. I want to make it an awesome blog... about... being a frustrated pre-vet student? There are so many blogs out there, no one would read it. But, ya know.
