How do you think programs feel about expressing interest in things like dermpath, or especially dermsurgery in personal statements/during interviews? I'm very interested in Derm as a field, but I'm tossing around the idea of eventually ending up doing dermpath or dermsurg, but not sure if programs want to hear specifics about those or if they just want to hear about interest in dermatology in general.
