Hello! I have a question regarding the timing / strategy of a letter of intention to matriculate. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have an upcoming interview next week to a school that i would definitely attend if offered a position. I obviously plan on sending a thank you note following the interview in addition to updating the committee on a new volunteer and clinical position I have started in the past month.

My question is this: should i combine a letter of intent into this with the TY note / update? I think expressing intent to matriculate directly following an interview may help my chances so they know right away. Or should I wait until I hear a decision on their part, which may be a few weeks later?
