Hi

So I am applying to a cancer research group that spans 3 semesters and is a level 4000 course (currently a freshman) and needed to write up a letter of intent. The group is incredibly tough to get into. If the professor likes your letter, you get an interview. Obviously the letter isn't as important as the interview, but it still decides if you get further in the application process.

I was hoping someone here would be nice enough to read my short 1 page paper and tell me if there are any parts where I come off poorly, I'd very much appreciate it!
