Hi all,
I am looking for some advice here. I am fortunate to have received 2 IIs at the moment. Considering my relatively low scores, I am really lucky and glad that my application has been reviewed holistically. As a whole! I submitted my secondary on 7/20/2024 to my top choice school and I have not heard back from them. Is this a good time to send a letter of interest? or should I wait a little more? They stated in MSAR that I can send my admissions counselor a letter of interest. However that I should not inquire about my status until February. What is the best course of action? Am I just another neurotic pre-med? lol

It is way too early to submit a letter of interest. Your application may not have even had an initial review yet. You submitted about a month ago - they know you're interested. Wait til the end of the fall semester along with any updates for the schools that accept them.

Don't waste your time or theirs.

They already know you're interested in them as you sent them an app. And it's not even Labor Day yet. Patience is a virtue.

In the mean time, congrats on the IIs! Read these:
