Letter of Rec from two different providers of the same practice?

I work in a medical practice as a MA and often work with multiple providers. I work the most closely with our PA and occasionally one of our MDs. Should I ask both providers for a letter? I know it is probably better to have a letter coming from an MD since I will be applying to medical school. But does it hurt to have multiple letters from different providers even though I feel like they might write about similar things? I would really appreciate any inputs here!

A single letter is better. Perhaps you could ask the two providers to co-write and co-sign the LOR?
