Hi everyone!

This is my first time posting here, so first off I'd like to say thank you for taking your time to read my post.

I have six letters of rec in my file, the maximum number of letters my school's LOR service can hold. All my letters of rec are from last year, since I am a reapplicant. However, this year, I was able to add on another letter from my club advisor, who is also a physician (M.D.) at a local hospital. I'm ecstatic that he's writing my letter of rec. I've been a part of his organization that clinically volunteers abroad for more than 2 years, and has contributed tremendously as an officer.

The problem is that, like I said, I already have the maximum amount of letters in my school file. So which one should I remove???

Letter from...
A. Science Professor (Ph.D) - Big name in the neurobio field, but I knew this prof for only one quarter. Also, this professor is one of the two required Science Prof, unless my research professor counts as a science prof.
B. Director of a volunteer program (No degree) - Volunteered in this hospital for over two years, but I don't know the director personally. Also, the director is also an undergrad. I also obtained a leadership position in this program AFTER this letter was written, so it's not very up to date.
C. Tutor Advisor, co-signed (B.A. and Ph.D) - I was a paid tutor for over 3 years and received a letter of rec from my advisor. He is a faculty member, but only has B.A. degree, so he co-signed it with the director of the tutoring program, who has a Ph.D. I know him very well, and I think this letter is strong, except I have mixed feelings for it because he only has a bachelor's degree and it is co-signed.

(The other 3 letters I am planning to keep for sure. The other 3 letters include 1 Science prof, 1 Humanities prof, and 1 Research prof)

Sorry, I know I'm throwing in their degree titles left and right. I know what is most important is the depth of the letter, but I'm sure their professional degree also weighs into consideration so I wanted to give you guys full disclosure.

Can anyone please let me know which letter you would take out if you were in my shoes, and why? Thank you so much. Sorry for such a long post! I appreciate your time!!

All the best,
Cupcake MD

easy choice. drop choice B because you dont know this individual personally.

I second Chief Illiniwek. B sticks out to me as a significantly weaker LOR than the others you mentioned.

B. Duh. By the way you phrased the question, it seems to be obvious.

Thanks for the replies!
B-- 3 to zero.
I guess I just needed to hear it from others who are knowledgeable with this process.
