Letter of Rec Question

I am curious about this as well.

So I contacted NYITCOM admissions, and he said they value the 2 science letters more than the non-science letter. He also said it can most likely count towards non-science if he taught you both science and non-science courses (but I don't know what my professor wrote so.. haha). Either way, it doesn't sound like they will throw out your app if you don't have the non-science letter. I have a call into PCOM as well, that might be a different story, I heard they are more strict.

PCOM is the school that came to mind. I would like to know their stance.

While speaking with them did you find out if NYITCOM will allow a letter substitution for the non-science letter? I"m asking because I'll have my science letters but no non-science.

I spoke with PCOM awhile ago and the adcom will not allow for any letter substitutions. You must have all the letters requested which is a bummer for me since I don't have the non-science letter.

When I talked to him, it seemed like they would...I didn't ask him that question specifically, but he said the letter requirements were guidelines for students.
