So optomcas if finally open!!! I know i'll be having many questions, but hopefully i'll find some answers here first 😛

When entering our evaluators' information, is it appropriate to add their titles, for example my professor would be Dr. X, and my optometrist would be Dr. X, O.D.? It feels odd or even disrespectful to not include their titles. Also what would you put in the personal message? Would a thank you and reminder of the due date suffice? Thanks a lot!

**I know i spelled recommendation wrong :/

I just added Dr. for both my professor and optometrist, but when it came to putting down my shadowing experience, I did include O.D..

The personal message I sent was something along these lines:
Dr. X,

Thank you for your kindness in agreeing to write me a letter of recommendation to accompany my application to optometry school. I know it takes a lot of time to write a letter of recommendation and I greatly appreciate you putting in the time and effort to help me. I will do my very best to deserve your confidence. Thank you!

Ok thanks! The application only has a "first name" and "last name" section so did you just put dr. x in the first name?
