Hey everyone, I want to start asking for letters of recs from professors. What do I need to do as far as telling them where to send the letter?

Just sent it to AADSAS address with back of envelope signed?

Is there anything more to this?

Thanks!

there's a matching form from aadsas the evaluator needs to include with the letter. you'll have to wait for the application to come out next month to get those, or you can try and use last years.

thanks, I read somewhere on SDN that they did away with those with revamping the app this year.

Anyone know?

it looks like they still need the matching forms. check the last section on this page.
http://www.adea.org/AADSAS/default.htm

but you can contact them if you absolutely need it now and see if they can work something out.

my experience is that profs take a while to write the letters anyway, so asking them now and getting the form to them later before they send it out shouldn't be too bad.

Thanks bro!

at my univ, we have a system where the bio student affairs office collects all the letters and sends them. does anyone know if i should still go through the school office or should i directly send them to aadsas? thanks!

i am wondering this too becuase I thought we had to have someone else send them and I don't see why if they are signed on the back of the envelope???

I don't like my pre-dent advisor because she is not very helpful and has screwed peoples stuff up before like telling them she sent it off and actually never doing it --etc... I don't want to depend on her if I don't have to

??

Also I dont know but this may be different because I have to go through a texas application service not the nationwide service you guys are talking about>???
