Letters after an interview?

Im just wondering what everyone's opinion is about sending letters after PA school interviews. There was a thread on this subject at physicianassociate.com but on consensus was met and the thread was closed prematurely. Im not sure why. Anyways, do you think a letter is too much brown-nosing?

I think it's a good idea if you had a positive interview experience. I ended up sending thank you cards after my interview just letting them know that no matter the outcome, that I came away with a positive impression of the program, etc., etc. The adcoms are people too, and I think if what you say is sincere, they will appreciate the feedback, and be more likely to remember more of your interview.
