Hey guys,
so i called up all the schools i applied to, and 3 out of 9 schools i talked to said they do not have my letters nyu, buffalo, and Michigan. The letters were mailed out from aadsas about 10 days ago. Do you think I should go ahead and give aadsas a call or should I wait and give a couple more days for the 3 schools to update my files (maybe my letters are sitting in a big stack of other things to be filed)??? anyone have this experience???

NYU will take dayssss to process. AADSAS sent my last letter mid August and according to the rep at NYU, it's probably still sitting in some box they haven't opened yet. Why? Because they have a "large applicant pool."

lol at least aadsas didn't lose the letters

mine was lost @ AADSAS

I would guess that since some schools got your letters, they're on their way to the other schools too. NYU, Case, and Penn sent me letters saying they didn't get my LORs, but like a week later they got them. Sometimes AADSAS is slow with that or they're in a huge stack with everyone else's.

Just call them! Everyone was really nice when I asked 🙂

In regards to NYU, they said that it takes 2 weeks to receive it from AADSAS, then it takes them up to 4 weeks to process it. Then god knows how long it takes to review it. I'll probably call back next week to see if they received it.

my LOR's were sent by AADSAS 8/10 and NYU has still not opened them and when i called they said its probably sitting in a box in the mail room, so i said....ok thanks? Yea they need to step it up i know its really hectic but if every other school can stay on top of it so can NYU (even though i know they probably get the most apps)
