hi guys, i tried doing a search but most of the threads didnt address the issue i needed; sorry if i sound ignorant

but im about to apply right now and im asked one of my old professors for a letter, and when he emailed me back asking how he should give it to me i didnt even know how to answer lol
like, i know pharmcas mails it out for us, so is it okay if he just writes it on a word document and sends the file to me or something? or does it have to be a hardcopy with a seal and all??
thank you in advance, and i apologize again for my ignorance

Have you already started your PharmCAS application? When you're logged in and designate your professor as a letter-writer, you can input their email address if they want to do it online. PharmCAS will then send them an email with instructions. If they prefer doing a paper letter and you select them as such, you will get a link you can click to download a form. Print that out and give it to your professor, after which he/she will have to mail it directly to PharmCAS.

If you need to get additional letters for schools not utilizing PharmCAS services, then you'll need to check with them how they want it. Some will want their form and the letter sent directly from the professor, while others will want you to collect them yourself and mail it together with the rest of your application. Others still may have their own online system.

Good luck! 👍
