hey guys,

i was just wondering...i'm thinking of applying in June for schools in california next application cycle and i was just wondering, as far as letters of rec go, is it required that one be from a professor? Does it have to be a science professor? Did everyone do research and get letters of rec from their advisors? thanks in advance.

This will probably answer your questions:

http://www.pharmcas.com/docs/ReqTypebySchool.pdf

It's the table from Pharmcas that shows what types of letters of rec that are received by which schools. Some require all profs, some allow TAs, some allow supervisors, etc. (If the link doesn't show up, you can find the table under the Letters of Reference section on the pharmcas website).

I applied to CA schools this year and had two LORs from profs and one from a supervisor (I currently work at a biotech company). UOP requires a pharmacist LOR.
