for those of you who applied last year, did you send the letter of recommendation matching form with your letters? The reason im asking is because i have copies of all my letters sealed and its gonna be annoying to contact all my professors and give them the letter to send with it. Just wanted to know if it was really that important.

when you start your AADSAS application you will have a section for LOR.

there you add the people who are writing you LOR (their Names, etc) and AADSAS automatically creates a pdf file to be used as a LOR matching form. On it is your name, your AADSAS ID number and the person who writes you the letter. This way when they get the letter they can place it in the right application-yours.

It is a form that you fill out. It asks for your name and the LOR writer's information. You give it to the person writing your LOR, and they include this form with the letter they write.

well to ellaborate on what i said earlier, I didnt send the matching forms. when aadsas got my letters they sent me an email saying i needed to fill them out. So i went online and did it. They then processesed it. I guess to make it easier, people should just print it out and have the recommenders send it in like they are supposed to.

i agree... why give AADSAS a possible excuse if they screw up your application? just cover all your bases and send the matching form with the letter. that way, when they finally screw up your application somewhere, then they can't blame you for it. 🙂 😀

i would just skip aadsas in the whole process and send the LORs directly to the schools so you won't have to deal with the form
