Can anyone please tell me what information to include in these two letters, how long they should be and more importantly, the timing of when to send these? I've never written one. Thanks.

In regards to that thread, should you actually name drop those places if you have acceptances from places like Stanford/Harvard/Yale?

Thanks! do you know a polite way to do that without seeming braggy or arrogant? Just like “while I am thankful to hold acceptances at Stanford/Harvard/Yale (or whatever school), I believe your institution would be a better fit for me given [insert reasons for wanting to attend here]...”
