I tried to find this information elsewhere and asked some classmates but couldn't find a definitive answer. I just found out recently I passed my regional board exam and wanted to apply for a NC dental license. I'll be doing an AEGD in a state other than NC next year so I didn't know if it would be better for me to just wait until that is over to apply? If anyone has any advice, I would appreciate it! Thanks!

The only advantage I see with having a license now as opposed to later would be that you can bypass the waiting period of applying for your lic., DEA, liability insurance and credentialling. This can take 2-3 months. You can also just wait 2-3 month before you intend to work to get it all done.
