Does any body know if getting a dental license in Georgia or Massachusetts will allow you to practice in any state you choose? Or do you have to get a new license each time you decide to move to a different state?
licensure is very weird and you have to check each individual state for their laws. Getting a georgia license (ADEX is what you want to take), will allow you to practice in any state that accepts the ADEX exam. After 5 years of active practice, you can move to any state (except Florida and Delaware) by licensure via credentials.
Does anyone know what are the rules for keeping your license active?
For example lets say I take ADEX and then decide I want to go out of country to practice for few years. Would I still be able to renew my license every 3 years by taking required amount of CE courses? or do I have to reapply for the license exam if I decide to come back to States?
