What's the life like for pediatric resident after finishing residency?

Where do they usually work (private practice or hospital)?
How much income would they be making starting out?

Life is good. Most work in private practice. Income averages 290 or so, if you believe the ADA figures, but it will vary from place to place. You will make more than the average GP, but a high power cosmetic GP practice may have a higher top end. Not sure if this is 100% right, but I think the range is narrower for peds in most places, but the average is higher.
