Does life experience play any role in admission into medical school or consideration as to why your GPA is low? Do adcoms realize that your GPA is not always the best predictor of how well you can do in medical school?

i guess that if your mcat is high it will help. i for example worked at least full time during entire undergrad and have 3.5 which is decent concidering the circumstances but so far i am not going anywhere even to interview. they say they look at many factors, but who the hell really knows?
