This is true. Having children makes people less logical and more selfish. Like suddenly having the thought that your life will matter. You aren't special. Your genes aren't special. Or when formerly left wing individuals will gleefully move to a new school district where their child won't have to share their upper middle class tax dollars with poor children.

It really just magnifies the hopeless endeavor that human society and existence truly are. Hopefully one day a comet strikes the Earth and ends the entire charade. Forever freeing the universe of the meaning we so rudely insisted that it had.

If a baby that was mine was born and died 6 months later, I'd consider myself incredibly fortunate. That would mean that some hussy trying to trap me for child support just lost her meal ticket.
