Hi everyone, I'm currently doing a post bacc at UCLA extension. I'm doing pretty well in the classes except the Life science series. Has anyone taken Life Science 7a, b and c?

For what I understood a committee is responsible for preparing the classes and the instructor just lecture it. The thing is the instructor does a terrible job explaining and the tests are hard. I feel that I am absorbing the content pretty well, I could even lecture about it, but the midterms....

Has anyone taken this class? I would appreciate any advice on how to approach the next exams.

I was also wondering if it's worth it a subscription on course hero or something like that. Maybe access to prior exams would help?

PLEASE SEND HELP!!!

Hi there, I am doing a DIY post-bacc at UCLA as well. I have completed LS 7A, 7B, and 23L and am almost done with 7C. I think the key to the exams is to focus on how the clicker questions and LaunchPad questions, especially the PEQs, are written. In my experience, the midterms/finals reflect this style of multiple choice question that they believe is analogous to the MCAT in some way. Aside from LS 7A, which was half multiple choice and half short answer, all of the other tests I have taken in the LS series have been multiple choice format. They expect you to memorize A LOT of material, which is normal, but there is an added element of test-taking skill that, if you master that, could be very helpful to you in completing the LS series successfully. I hope this is helpful! Good luck!

Hiiiii, how are you doing? Well, I am still here struggling with Life Science series. I finished 7A and 7B with A's, but only because of the extra credit. Now I am taking 7C and I still did not master the "test-taking" skill. I don't know what to do to improve. Any advice? Thank you
