1st: This forum is supposed to be about lifestyle, which could be really helpful to pre-pods and pod students. Please keep to the topic of I will have to close the forum. It is getting a bit to personal. There is a PM function for a reason... private discussions. Thank you.

2nd: I got married my last year of podiatry school. We lived together for all of pod school. I have a very supportive husband who picks up and moves everytime I need to. I just recently got pregnant, so I was pregnant for the last 3 months of my residency. We tried for sooner, but it didn't work out.

I agree with Natch, there is never a good time to get pregnant. If you wait for that time, you may have trouble, need fertility specialists, only be able to have one child, be a really old parent, and your child will have old or no grandparents. It is definitely a struggle especially if the pod is the female but doable. I don't plan to slow down my career or ambitions just because I'm pregnant or after I have a child.

It was good to finally hear a female's perspective on these kind of issues.

You attack anyone who has a contradictory opinion to your own, usually by starting each of your lengthy posts with something like, "I have been doing this for 30 years...

I'm not attacking anyone personally, but I'm a new member and it only took a few hours of reading on this forum to confirm the above statement.

It's unfortunate, as a student, to see the few podiatrists who actually contribute to this site argue so frequently and it's also one of the reasons I'm hesitant to share my opinion in these discussions.

On the flip side, I think I speak for a lot of students when I say we value every attending's input here, short of killing threads by posting their negative opinions of one another.
