Lifetime max for med school/grad loans?

Is there a max? The literature I read on it was not straight forward. Say it takes someone 5 years to complete Medical S, will the 5 year be effected at all?

There are maximums on Stafford loans. I'm not sure about GradPLUS loans.

Go to the DoE's financial aid website. They describe the limits there.
