Light semester interview season?

Is it a bad thing taking a light semester during interview season, which is different from my future coursework in AMCAS. By light I mean 13 credits, 10 upper level credits and 3 graded research credits (20-25 hours in the lab). I am worried come acceptance time (if I'm so fortunate) that it will be questioned as being misleading seeing as I put down 16 credits and at the time none of those were research. Ultimately I'll graduate on time and have my pre-reqs done so I figure no big deal but don't want to drop a class and regret it.

Sorry for any excessive pre-med neuroticism I just live 1000 miles from my home state so traveling back might be really challenging on my initial schedule as I already have quite a few interviews scheduled with potentially more to come.

My senior year semesters were 8 and 6 credits. I think you're fine.

Better to have a lighter schedule rather than miss classes due to interviews and then get lower grades because of that.

Not at all! In fact, having a light schedule during interviews is very convenient both to you and your professors (who don't have to reschedule exams in case your interview schedule conflicts with exams). After you're accepted, schools won't question your credits at all, as past the point of acceptance, your undergrad performance is unimportant (unless you literally fail all your senior classes), and the only interaction the admissions office will have with your transcript is to verify the date you received your degree and that you've completed all the pre-reqs.
