So the lights went out while taking my step 1(terrible experience it added another level of stress to the exam). I was mid block in my 3rd block. Has anyone else had this happen? It took over 30 minutes to get everyone up and running again. Does anyone know the likelihood that this will affect my score?

Oh God that's terrible!
Did you lose those 30 mins then? Or when you came back the timer started from where you had left it?
Sorry I don't have an answer to your question but I hope everything goes fine. Good luck!

Thanks. I believe I had to re-answer 2-3 questions. And honestly don't know if the time came back exactly but it was close to the time where lights went out. What worries me is the lack of focus I had afterwards. I felt I went blank. Then rage kicked in. I may have gone through the whole denial, anger, acceptance phases in the following blocks.

That happened to my bf while he was taking step 1 and again while he was taking step 2... but his scores came out fine. There was no delay or re-take. He was very annoyed that it happened to him twice.
