I don't have the numbers from my school, but I would expect the number to be very low. Most of the time, there are always an accepted applicant here or there that didn't meet the conditions as stated on the acceptance letter and/or have some personal issue suddenly come up. There are people who do get off the waitlist in the month or two before school starts, but don't get your hopes up because it's rare.
It totally depends on how big the school is you are applying to....
Our school has accepted people up to the very last minute (as orientation was starting) b/c of people who drop out at the last minute.
yea I guess it does all depend on the school... but even then, the trends in the past years of the same school doesnt always stay the same the next year. BUT.... don't give up... I was miserable being on the waiting list for about 3 weeks... then I got the wonderful email and it all changed. 🙂 good luck to you!!! until classes start... there is still hope!!
The reason I ask is because I feel that I have a good chance of getting accepted if 10 more people get pulled off from the wait list.
