Limited to 3 letters of reference?

Hi all. I have secured 4 letters of reference for my applications. So far, so good! But the online application for my top choice school only has spots to indicate 3 letter writers. Should I have the fourth writer send their letter via snail mail? Or will I have to exclude someone?

If they only have 3 spots, I'd probably only just include 3 letters. That's me though.

If the application says 3, then send 3.

Agree, just send 3. We ask for 3 letters. Sometimes people will send 4 letters. I do not read the 4th letter.
