Hi guys!
I realize that the concept of limiting reagents is quite an important one; however, Chad didn't really mention it in his Gen Chem videos. So I'm just wondering: what's the extent of how much we'd need to use it on the exam? I know a couple of Bootcamp's exams have included a question or two that utilizes our knowledge of how to calculate which is the limiting reagent, but from what I've read on these forums, Chad's is all we need to know. So what's the verdict? Thank you! 🙂

Chad certainly covers a lot, but it's impossible to cover everything. I would just learn it. It shouldn't take too much time to understand how to tackle the problem.

Wow.....dangerous move ! Limiting reagent calculation is a MUST !!! If two compounds are given......and grams or moles of both are specified.....be able to do the calculation ! The DAT exam will give easy to work with numbers !

I had one or two of those problems on my DAT, so I would definitely know how to do and know the different kinds of limiting reagent problems. The problems I saw were covered in destroyer.
