I was just wondering what everyone thought about the new school in Tenn. And are you guys going to apply?

I'm applying there...going to there open house this Saturday to learn more about the school.

i think i might apply, can't hurt any, though im not close enough to visit. some interesting factoids about hte school though: they REQUIRE a DO LOR. also the city it's in, Harrogate, BECAME a city in 1993!

Anyone attend this past weekend's info session at LMU? I'm interested to hear about their hospital affiliations for clerkships/residencies. Also, how is the building coming along?

I went to the open house on Saturday. They had a list of hospitals in the packet they gave us at the open house. If you want a list just pm me. There is about 8 or 9 hospitals in the surrounding area. They also have 2 Children's hospitals for rotations. The building is on schedule and looks like its coming alone. From the presentation of the school, it looks like its gonna be a really good school. They are going to have state of the art technology, including stimulator babies and adults (i think it was 8 rooms). The professors that are teaching seem very qualified. From the open house, I believe it would be a great school to attend. Even though its a new school, they have a lot of people who have taught for years and are well qualified. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to post the clinical rotations for Lincoln. I alot of people are interested in this school. Does anyone have anything bad to say about it?
